5-3 Replacing Stripper Bar

Because of the wear nature of the Delrin stripper bars, they will need to be replaced
periodically. In order to do that, the feed roll must be accessed from the exit plate.
1. Remove the four (4) M10 bolts from the Delrin bar.
2. After bolt removal, the Delrin bar is free to remove. Replacement is done by simply
reinserting and bolting in a new stripper.

NOTE that if all strippers are to be removed, it is advantageous to remove the middle
stripper bar first, followed by the outer bars.

5-4 Removing the Rollers
1. Disconnect all power and lock out the equipment in accordance with plant safety
procedures.
2. Remove the front and rear guards/covers.
