If this LAN port funtion fail after connected a 1GbE module, you may 

try the following steps:

Step 1:  Remove the 1GbE module from the LAN port.
Step 2:  Disable the LAN port function.
Step 3:  Enable the LAN port function.

Or you may remove the 1GbE module from the LAN port and then  

restart the system.
