11. Once the ResQLink AIS is fully attached to the life
jacket, you are ready to arm the device, by sliding
the red arming tab down.

Failure to arm the ResQLink AIS will inhibit the
auto activation of the ResQLink AIS when needed
and will STOP the life jacket inflating correctly.
12. A protective cover is provided to protect the
ResQLink AIS from accidental activation if the grey
slide is knocked or otherwise moved under the life
jacket cover. After arming the ResQLink AIS, fit
the protective cover, then clip the protective cover
into the slots immediately adjacent to the arming
slider. Make sure that both sides of the cover are
clipped in place.

Ensure the ResQLink AIS is securely tied to a fixed point on the life jacket that will NOT
inhibit inflation.
Repack the bladder into the cover, ensuring the bladder does not get trapped in the fastening mech-
anism or tangled up.
