3.4 Averager with triggered simultaneous acquisition and readout (AVG/TSR/INT option)
54
U5303A User's Manual
When compared with standard averager mode, the AVG&TSR mode has neither AVG dead time nor
readout time between acquisition sequences. The overall dead time between average records is
minimum and limited to trigger re-arm time (~ 800 ns), minimizing the risk of trigger loss.
Thanks to TSR mode, high data rate can be sustained without losing any trigger.
The number of averages for an averager sequence can be selected: from 1 to 520 000 triggers.
Abort function is not yet supported in AVG +TSR mode. The workaround is to close and reinitialize
the card.
Usage
Supported configuration
U5303A-INT/AVG/TSR/SR1 + INT @ 2 GS/s
Other sampling rate SR0, SR2, and SR3 are not supported.
AVG&TSR mode is enabled only with interleaved mode.
Not supported in dual channel mode
Acquisition sequence
First, user should configure the averager: Accumulation settingsand features are the same as
standard AVG. Then TSR mode has to be enabled. Acquisition are performed continuously until you
