Parameters
ActiveSource (IAqMD3Trigger.ActiveSource property)
: Specifies the trigger source.
There are three trigger sources: internal, external and self-trigger. If the Self-Trigger mode is selected
the Self-Trigger parameters should be set and the IO 3 output should be enabled.
Frequency (IAqMD3TriggerSourceSelfTriggerSquareWave Interface)
: Specifies the
frequency of the Self-Trigger square wave signal. The units are Hertz.
DutyCycle (IAqMD3TriggerSourceSelfTriggerSquareWave Interface)
: Configures
the duty cycle of the Self-Trigger square wave signal. Units are percentage of the period.
Slope (IAqMD3TriggerSourceSelfTriggerSquareWave Interface)
: Specifies whether
a rising or a falling edge of the generated waveform triggers the acquisition card.
Out-AveragerAwg (ControlIOs interface)
: Self-Trigger signal is propagated through the IO
3.
Post trigger delay
The post-trigger delay is a multiple of 10 ns with -SR2 option, a multiple of 16 ns with -SR1 option and
a multiple of 8 ns with -SR3 option (coded in 24 bits).
The post-trigger delay can be adjusted within the following time range:
-SR3 option: from 0 to 134.217728 ms (i.e. 2
24
x 8 x 10
-9
seconds)
-SR2 option: from 0 to 167.77216 ms (i.e. 2
24
x 10 x 10
-9
seconds)
-SR1 option: from 0 to 268.435456 ms (i.e. 2
24
x 16 x 10
-9
seconds).
Baseline stabilization and digital offset
For applications where extraordinary baseline stability is required, this option provides a stabilization
algorithm with a resolution of 0.0625 LSB. In combination with the baseline stabilization, a digital
offset with a resolution of 0.5 LSB can be applied.
This algorithm is specially implemented for applications where most of the acquired data is nearby a
baseline and the data of interest are fast peaks above/below this baseline. Two programmable
