Maximal amount of handsets powered by the panel should not exceed 50 pieces (assuming
there is only one handset ringing at a time). Power supply should be accordingly bigger (ACO
recommends our PSU: TR DIN 12V 2A or DC PSU - DR-45-15), if there are more than one
handsets ringing at the same time, use diagram 1 or 2 and use the formula below to estimate
the amount of power supplies.
ADJUSTING VOLUME
After establishing connection we can adjust volume as follows:
- volume control „
RING
” controls handset ringing volume for the switch 3 in the middle
position.
- volume control „
SPK
” controls handset volume (conversation volume)

Using following formula you can calculate power consumption of given amount of handsets:
I [A] = (A + B) x 1,2
A = K x 0,007
B = L x 0,05
Legend: I – recommended power efficiency of power supply
K – amount of handsets
L – maximal amount of handsets that ring at the same time (with the same physical
addres)
In case of longer lines you need take voltages drops on the cables into consideration, in such
installations we recommend dividing it into groups with many power supplies.
