Battery care and replacement
For a longer battery life, please follow the following steps :
- Never store the model in activated state. Always switch off after use.
- Make sure that the model is stored with sufficient battery capacity (min 85%)
- Always store at room temperature
- When not used for a longer time, charge the battery every 3 months.
Please follow these steps to avoid a damage on the battery.
How to install a replacement battery
1.
Remove the cockpit of the helicopter (2 or 3 screws).
2.
Cut off the 2 cables (red and black) that connect the battery with the helicopter.
3. Strip the black wire about 7 mm.
4. Strip the black wire of the new battery about 7mm.
5. Twist the wire ends together and fold over at the half.
6. Slide the supplied plastic wrap (heat shrink tube) and heat it up briefly with a lighter.
7. Please make sure that the copper wires are not visible.
8. Proceed accordingly with the red wire.
