Focusing
The distance (A) between the lower edge of the scan unit (2) and the surface of the work-
piece (1) depends upon the type of objective used:
The availability of a suitable height adjustment (3) is a useful aid when focusing.

NOTICE
A defined distance between the objective of the scan head and the work piece
must be set in order to focus the laser beam optimally on the surface of the work
piece.
