Chapter 2

Disk Drives

Select Disk Drives from the main menu to configure the drives installed in your system.

The following screen shows the Disk Drives menu:

The following table describes the parameters found in this menu.

Lets you set the date following the weekday
month-day-year format

Weekday: Sun, Mon....Sat

Month: Jan, Feb...Dec

Day: 1 to 31

Year: 1980 to 2079

Time

Lets you set the time following the hour-minute-
second format

Hour: 0 to 23

Minute: 0 to 59

Second: 0 to 59

IDE Primary Master

Lets you configure the hard disk drive connected 
to the master port of IDE channel 1. 

To enter the IDE Primary Master setup, press 
Enter.

The IDE CD-ROM is always automatically 
detected.

IDE Primary Slave

Lets you configure the hard disk drive connected 
to the slave port of IDE channel 1. 

To enter the IDE Primary Slave setup, press Enter.

Lets you configure the hard disk drive connected 
to the master port of IDE channel 2.
