Removing the DVD-ROM and CD-RW Drive

Disconnect the optical drive IDE cable and audio cable  from the main board..

4.

Remove the four screws holding the CD-RW drive to the housing

.

 

5.

Disconnect the CD-RW power cable, CD-RW IDE cable, and audio cable from the CD-RW, then remove 
the CD-ROM drive from the housing.
