Using the AC Adapter

1-11

To connect the AC adapter, complete the
following steps:

1. Turn off the power, or press the Suspend to

Disk button to put the computer into
suspend-to-disk mode.

2. Connect the female connector of the AC cord

to the inlet on the AC adapter.

3. Plug the DC connector into the matching jack

on the rear panel of the computer.

4. Plug the male end of the AC cord into a wall

receptacle using the correct voltage.

5. Turn the computer on.
