Chapter 3

Removing the Hard Disk Drive Module 

1.

See “Removing the Lower Cover” on page 51.

2.

Remove the single screw securing the hard disk bracket to the Lower Cover.

3.

Hold the Pull Tab and slide the HDD away from the connector. 

4.

Pull the HDD up as shown to remove.

NOTE: 

To prevent damage to the HDD, avoid pressing down on it or placing heavy objects on top of it.
