Even if you get a result meaning „safe range“, you should
never drive after consuming alcohol or do any other activities
that are severely impaired by alcohol consumption and might
endanger your health and safety or the health and safety of
others.

Flo
The breath sample was not strong enough for
measurement. After warming automatically,
please blow strong and steady during sampling.
bAt
The battery power is low. Please replace the
batteries.
CAL
If you test over 1,000 tests, ACE Neo will display
“CAL” sign for 3 seconds when warming up
for test. This “CAL” sign will be provided the
appropriate time for calibration. For a calibration
service you can send the device to ACE Instru-
ments (see www.alkomat.net).
Out
The device is turning off, “Out” is shown during
approx. 5 seconds on the display, then the device
switches itself off automatically. OUT also ap-
pears if you don`t use the device dur-ing approx.
30 seconds or if you press continuously the start
button for approx. 3 seconds.
P
The device is in passive mode. The passive
mode can be used when a person is too drunk
to do a test by using a mouthpiece. As soon as
„0“ appears on the display, the test person must
briefly exhale in the direction where nor-mally
the mouthpiece is inserted and at the same
time you have to push the start button for 2
seconds until you hear a „tictac tone“. Now the
device evaluates the breath test and afterwards
you can see either „P“ or „F“ in the display. P =
Pass (person is not drunken), F = Fail (person
is drunken and must not drive). Default values
(not changeable): P < 0.20 per mill and F >= 0.20
per mill.
Calibration
To maintain the accuracy of the breathalyzer, ACE Instruments
recommends a calibration after 1000 tests or approx. every
12 months (depending which incident happens first). For a
calibration service you can send the device to ACE Instruments
(see www.alkomat.net). The calibration is not mandatory, but
the accuracy of the breathalyzer will decrease steadily without
it and additionally the warranty for the sensor expires.
We recommend sending it as a parcel, so that in cases of
loss an inquiry or proof of delivery is possible.
