6.6  AccuValve Insight Software 

To open the AccuValve Insight application double click on the desktop shortcut or go to the 
Start Menu and select Programs > AccuValve Insight. 

 

 

 

Select the appropriate COM port then select Connect. 

 

Note:

 

if you’re not sure which COM port your computer is using for the A

ccuValve 

connection, unplug the AVT transmitter from the USB port and view the drop-down list 
noting the COM ports that are included in the list.  Now plug the AVT into USB port and 
view the drop-down list.  The new COM port added to the list is the AVT COM port.

 

6.6.1 Insight Dashboard 

The Insight Dashboard is the primary screen for accessing the transmitter parameters and 
viewing the real-time performance of the AVT3000 valve.  The Dashboard provides an intuitive 
graphical user interface that is easy to understand while providing easy access to the field-
configurable parameters.  The diagram below identifies the different objects of the dashboard 
with brief descriptions of each on the following pages.
