SECTION 6 – ACCUVALVE INSIGHT USER INTERFACE SOFTWARE
Using a PC you can communicate directly with the AVT transmitter to configure the analog
output or locally monitor the transmitter performance.
All that’s required is a Windows PC or
Tablet with a USB Port, a USB Cable and the AccuValve Insight Software.
6.1 Minimum Requirements for PC

PC or Tablet with Windows Version 10
•
USB 2.0 Port
•
Screen Resolution 1280 x 768 or greater suggested
•
USB Cable Type A/MICRO B
6.2 Installing the AccuValve Insight Software
Before starting the following process, close any programs running on the computer.
1. Download the AccuValve Insight Software from http://www.accutrolllc.com .
2. Install software by running the setup application. The setup wizard will guide you through
the software installation process. Follow screen prompts and select the appropriate
responses to proceed with installation.
6.3 AccuValve Insight Software Product Registration
Once the AccuValve Insight Software has been installed, you will need to register the product
and obtain a valid software key from the factory before you can use the software.
Note: When selecting the Register Product Key button, the information provided will be
copied to the clipboard and Insight will attempt to generate an email using your default
Email Program. If a default Email program has not been configured you will need to
manually generate an email addressed to
requestsoftwarekey@accutrolllc.com and
paste the clipboard information into the body of the email. The Installation Serial
Number is unique to the computer which it was installed on. Therefore, the Registration
Key will only function on this one computer. If you require the software to be installed on
more than one computer, a request for each computer must be generated separately.
1. Double click on the desktop shortcut created during the installation or go to the Start Menu
and select Programs>AccuValve Insight.
2. Fill in the required information on the Product Registration F orm and click on the “Request
Product Key” button to generate the email key request to the factory.
3. Once the key request email has been received by the factory, a unique Product Key will be
generated and sent to the email address provided on the Registration Form.
4. After receiving the email from the factory, copy the product key and paste it into the field
provided at the bottom of the form then
click on the “Register Product Key” button.
5. You will now be able to use the AccuValve Insight Software on this computer.
