It is important for the user to familiarize themself with the Ultraviolet security features embedded in the banknote or document they
wish to inspect in order to appropriately and efficiently verify the bill o
r document. Additionally, we recommend that the user compare
any suspicious bill with a genuine bill in order to better determine
its authenticity.
•
Plug the unit into the power outlet and turn it ON.
•
Touch the Auto Start sensor at the top of the unit to activate the UV light.
•
Place the bill or document under the UV light to inspect it.
The UV security features should be highlighted and easily recognizable to the user. The UV features may differ depending on the
side that is analyzed (for bills or documents that have UV security features visible from both sides). For this reason, we recommend
the user analyze both
sides of
the bill or document.

• Avoid operating the unit close to a strong – natural or artificial – lig
ht source. The UV light effect could be overpowered by this external
source, minimizing the ultraviolet fluorescence of the bill or security document.

Do not use this product in areas where it may be exposed to water or other liquids and unplug the unit from the power outlet before
cleaning.

Do not use the unit if the power cord is damaged or if the plug socket contact is loose.
