Using
Excelis HD
With a PC
You can connect your
Excelis HD
camera directly to a PC using the USB 2.0 ca-
ble female/female cable that is included with your camera. Connect one end of
the USB 2.0 cable to the USB port on the top of the camera and the other to a
USB 2.0 port on your PC.
NOTE
: if you connected your mouse to the USB port on the top of the cam-
era, you will need to remove it to use the port for connecting to a PC.
Copying/Retrieving Images
From the SD Card to a PC
You can connect your
Excelis HD
camera directly to a PC using the USB 2.0 ca-
ble female/female cable that is included with your camera and retrieve
Images and video from the SD card. Or, you can remove the SD
Card and insert into any SD reader to copy images and video from
the card to your PC or Mac.
CaptaVision
PC Software
For More Image Control
For more image control, analysis and annotation of images, use
CaptaVision
PC
software that came with your camera.
NOTE:
CaptaVision
PC sofware is only compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7
and 8 (32 or 64 bit).
INSTALLATION:
1) Connect the camera to the PC. Find the EXE file "
CaptaVision
3.6.7 Setup",
double-click it to install the software and driver.
