Daily Maintenance
Before use, check the chair for signs of
damage, excessive wear or incorrect
performance.
Clean and care for the fabric on a regular
basis and it will maintain its condition and
appearance.
WARNING.
If you notice the user is not
comfortable with the product, take it out
of service and contact Accora customer

If the upholstery show signs of
damage or excessive wear do not use the
chair and contact Accora customer service

WARNING.
If the chair show signs of incorrect
performance do not use the product and

General Maintenance
We recommend to check on the chair on a
weekly basis.
Place the chair on a flat surface. Plug in
the power cable and adjust the chair to an
upright position. Check that the backrest fully
reclines and returns to the upright position.
Tilt the chair to its maximum and return to
the riser position. Adjust the chair again to
the upright position. The chair is ready for
use if all the movements are smooth and no
abnormalities are detected.
Check that the power cables and the
handset cable are always in good condition.

Regulations
The Configura
®
Rise and Recline chair
complies with British Standard – BS8474:2013.
This article contains CM Foam which passes
the specified test. All upholstery is cigarette
resistant. All cover fabric is cotton and is
match resistant. This article does not include
a Schedule3 interliner.
General Protection
• Protect from the elements.
• Use only on a level, debris free surface.
• Do not allow the mechanism to become
waterlogged.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners on the
mechanism.
• Do not use solvents or flammable fluids
on the mechanism.
Electrical Limitations
• Disconnect from the electrical supply
before moving.
• Disconnect from the electrical supply
before undertaking any maintenance.
• Use only genuine spare parts from the
original manufacturer.
• The mechanism is designed to be
unusable in the event of a power failure
unless fitted with a battery backup or
rechargeable system. The number
of movements will depend on the
system fitted together with any loading
conditions prevailing.
• Do not increase the electrical fuse size
in the plug top or attempt to connect
any other mains connection to the
appliance.
• Do not operate the controller for more
than 2 minutes continuously in any 20
minute period.
• Do not cover the transformer; Air cooling
is required.
