Displays and functions

The display shows CO concentrations from 30 
to 999 ppm. If the CO concentration exceeds 
this maximum value, the display continues to 
show 999 ppm. 

 

Testing the device electronics 

Pressing the Test/Reset button triggers 
a device electronics test: The warning 
tone signals and the red ALARM LED 
blinks. This does not signalise that CO 
is present in the room; it is a 
confirmation that the alarm is 
functioning properly. 

 

 

 

Test the alarm function after installation and after every battery 
change without fail (wait about 30 seconds after establishing the 
battery contact). A regular weekly test is also recommended.
