8. Cut out the marked areas from the original fog light panels. Use a suitable saw (e.g. car body saw
with a fine-toothed saw blade). Deburr the cuts.
9. Roughen the adhesive surfaces around the cutout thoroughly until on the basic material with the
included abrasive sheet. Remove the grit and clean the adhesive surfaces thoroughly with an easy-
fleeting cleaner (e.g. silicone remover).
Attention:
The adhesive surfaces must be free from any
grease, paint and primer rests.
10. Cut up the lattices according to the size of the cutouts.
Hint:
For a perfect bonding, the edges of the lattices should be 1,5-2cm longer then the cutout. Look
for an even alignment of the lattices (fig.2).
11. Position the lattices on the cutout’s backside and align them (fig. 2).
12. Fix the lattices in the correct position with suitable appliance (e.g. car body adhesive tape, clamps)
and stick it with the included adhesive to the original fog light panels. Let the adhesive cure as long
as possible. See manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.

13. Roughen the adhesive surfaces of the Abt fog light panels thoroughly until on the basic material.
Remove the grit and clean the adhesive surfaces thoroughly with an easy-fleeting cleaner (e.g.
silicone remover).
Attention:
The adhesive surfaces must be free from any grease, paint and primer
rests.
14. Apply the included adhesive in a line of Ø2-3mm onto the prepared adhesive surfaces of the Abt fog
light panels.
Hint:
The adhesive must spread out as full-flat as possible on the adhesive surfaces
when pressing down the Abt fog light panels at the vehicle.
Attention:
Pot life: max. 10 minutes.
15. First position the Abt fog light panels easily at the vehicle and align them (fig.3).
16. Press down the Abt fog light panels in the correct position and fix them with suitable appliance (e.g.
car body adhesive tape, clamps). Minimise existing split dimensions with this work step. Remove
leaving adhesive immediately with a suitable cleaner (fig.3).
