Assembly instructions
Fitting time:
approx. 0,75h
Attention: For a perfect fitting it is necessary that room- and vehicle temperature is not lower than
15°C.
1. Attention: Read carefully through these assembly instructions before the assembly. It
contains important hints and information, that must be necessarily heeded before and during
the assembly and helps to avoid misunderstandings. Please note the assembly instructions
for the Abt sport silencer additionally.
2. Check the delivery if intact and with help of the parts list on completeness.
3. Check the Abt fog light panels for accuracy at the vehicle before painting. Correct if necessary. For
checking execute point 5-8.
4. Paint the Abt fog light panels. See lacquer cycle for >PU-RIM-parts< (page 11). Cover the adhesive
surfaces before painting. This eases and accelerates the further work steps.
5. Carefully dismount the original fog light panels by unhooking from the front bumper.
6. Cut out the templates along the markings and lay them up to the inner side of the original fog light
panels (fig. 1).

7. Mark the cutting areas and remove the templates.
