Troubleshooting
The treadmill is
not working
•
Make sure the power cord is properly secured into the power
outlet and that the switch is turned to the ‘ON’ position.
•
Check the Safety Magnet is in the correct position.
•
Ensure you have not been using the Walkslim 470 for more
than 120 minutes continuously. In order to better maintain
your WalkSlim 470 and extend the life of the treadmill,
we recommend that you turn off the power and allow the
machine to rest for 10 minutes after 2 hours of continuous
use.
The tread belt is
not working
• Insufficient lubrication. Add silicone oil lubricant.
• Tread belt is too tight which will reduce performance and
increase wear of rollers and tread belt. Adjust tread belt
tightness to the correct tension. The tread belt should be able
to be lifted from the base by about 5-7.5cm by hand.
The tread belt is
slipping
•
Tread belt is too loose or too tight. Adjust the tread belt
tightness to the correct tension. The tread belt should be able
to be lifted from the base by about 5-7.5cm by hand. If you
feel there are occasional pauses as you are walking normally,
it means the belt has become loose. Over time the tread belt
will loosen due to wear or stretching and an adjustment must
be made
•
STEP 1.
Remove the four screws on the upper cover and let
the Treadmill run at a speed of 1km/hour. Stand on the tread
belt and hold the handrail with both hands.
•
If the momentary step on the belt makes the tread belt
stop, and the tread belt and front roller are still rotating, it
means the tread belt is a little slack and you must make
adjustments.
•
STEP 2:
Use a wrench to adjust the screw on the motor base.
At the same time, gently turn the tread belt between the
motor shaft and the front roller by hand. If it is too loose, you
can turn the tread belt upside down by 100%; if it is too tight,
you can turn 80% of the tread belt.
•
STEP 3:
Finally, lock the motor base and install the front
guard.
