Operating Instructions

1.  Introducing Pilot Pro

The Pilot Pro is a high quality, voice activated ECU enabling the user to operate
equipment using spoken commands or switch control.  With its improved voice
recognition technology the new generation of Pilots solidify their place in the market as
the premier voice-recognition ECU in the world!

The Pilot Pro can control multiple devices such as lights, appliances, hospital beds,
nurse calls, thermostats, audio and visual infrared devices and IR Telephones.

The Pilot Pro uses “direct-to-unit” infrared learning making IR training faster.

The Pilot Pro features larger display fonts, new voice playbacks and an updated word list
to reflect our North American market.  We think you will like these new and improved
features!

Pilot Pro and Pilot One differ from each other as follows:

Pilot Pro:

The Pro controls unlimited devices and appliances.  Its menu can be 100% custom-made
and can be modified and configured to a customer’s specific needs.  The Pro can
operate 256 X-10 devices via RF, complex infrared controls for most audio and visual
components, hospital room/bed control and AbleNet telephones.

Pilot One:

Controls up to 15 different devices and appliances via a fixed menu structure.  Menu
contains the following:  Television, Video, Satellite, Amp, Tuner, Tape, CD, DVD,
Telephone, Six speed dials, Light, Lamp, Device, Bed, Book and Alarm (nurse call.)
Menu items cannot be changed.  Four X-10 controls (per IR Command Center, per room)
are part of the One menu structure.
