Installing the Microsoft

DirectX

For the best gaming capability, we suggest that you install the Microsoft

DirectX

7 driver. Some newer

games will also ask you to install the DirectX driver before you start them.

The installation of Microsoft

DirectX

7 is very easy. Please insert the GF2 MX CD-Title into the CD-

ROM drive. It should execute the installation program automatically. If not, you can go to the CD
location and execute the execution file at the root directory of this CD-Title. After it is executed, you can
see the screen below.

Move the cursor to the “

Install DirectX 7

”

and click on it.

The install dialogue box will appear. Click

the “

Yes

” button. This will begin installing the

Microsoft

DirectX

7 driver into your

computer.

When the installation procedure is complete,

a dialogue box will ask you to reboot your
computer. Click the “

” button to reboot your

computer.
