IX48 GT3

1.6.4 NB Fan Set installation

It is the default package that the NB heatsink not installed with a cooling fan. Enclosed in the
motherboard package you can find a fan set specially designed for this heatsink. Please have it
installed on top of the heatsink.

Don’t forget to connect the fan power plug to [SYSFAN1] connector after installation.

1.6.5 PWM Fan Set installation

It is possible to attach one mini cooling fan

(40 x 40 x 10mm, not included in this motherboard

package)

on top of the PWM heatsink to increase the heat dissipating efficiency.

Enclosed in the motherboard package you can find a pair of retention clips. This bundled
accessory is used to hold the fan itself.

Don’t forget to connect the fan power plug to [AUXFAN4] connector after installation.
