Channel setting
Channel settings are made by scraping or connecting joints between soldering pads on the
circuit board. These spots are marked A, B and C in fig 3. The table shows which channels
can be used and which joints should be scraped off or connected.

Mounting Gewa IR-1S Micro
The IR-1S Micro can be used hanging on a strap around the neck. Thread the thin loop of
the neck strap through the attachment loop on the transmitter. Adjust the length of the neck
strap.
Warning!
The string lock is a safety feature to prevent strangling. Make sure that the ends of the neck
strap can be pulled out eg. if the transmitter gets caught on something. Never make knots in
the neck strap!
Cleaning
Your IR-1S Micro can be cleaned with a damp cotton wool pad with surgical spirit,
Chlorhexidine or ethyl alcohol.
It can also be cleaned with a damp cloth (weak solution of washing up liquid). Wipe dry after
cleaning.
Warning!
Do not use any disinfectant except surgical spirit, Chlorhexidine or ethyl
alcohol.
These liquids are inflammable, handle with care!
Operating Environment
The IR-1S Micro is designed for use indoors and outdoors but should be protected against
splashing liquid.
