Menus reached by the control switch
The smartphone is operated via the Click Menu and the Longpress Menu .
Click menu
The Click menu is shown when pressing the switch when an object is highlighted during
scanning (Row scanning) or a position (Point scanning). The Click menu has the following
functions:
Tap Tap on the currently selected object
Longpress Longpress on the currently selected object (only visible when
the selected object has longpress functionality)
Down/Right Scrolls down or right depending on the scroll view (only visible
when a scrollable view is detected)
Up/Left Scrolls up or left depending on the scroll view (only visible
when a scrollable view is detected)
Cancel Closes the Click menu
Longpress menu
The Longpress menu is shown when pressing and holding the switch for 2.5 seconds. The
delay time can be customised, see chapter 5.1 Scanning settings .
The Longpress menu has the following features:
Swap Switches between Point scanning and Row scanning.
The icon depends on current scanning mode
Home Goes back to the start screen (same as Home button)
Back Goes back one step in the activity stack (same as Back button)

Connect Opens GEWA Connect
Off Turns off the screen
Down/Right Scrolls down or right on largest visible view (only visible when a
scrollable view is detected)
Up/Left Scrolls up or left on largest visible view (only visible when a
scrollable view is detected)
More Shows further options that do not fit on the first page of the
Longpress menu
GEWA Settings Opens GEWA Settings
Notifications Opens the Notification drawer (The same as swiping down on
top of the screen)
Power menu Launches the Power menu (same as holding down the Power
button for a short while)
Recent apps Opens recent apps (same as pressing the Recent button)
