1 Screw the tungsten electrode (3) into the gas diffuser (2) from behind.
2 Insert the gas diffuser (2) into the torch body (4) from the front.
3 Hold tungsten electrode (3) and gas diffuser (2) and screw on guide tube (5) but do not
tighten.
4 Set tungsten electrode (3) to the desired stick-out and tighten the guide tube (5) .
5 Screw in gas nozzle (1) .
6.2 Shortening the tungsten electrode
The electrode type is set by EN ISO 6848. The max. length of electrode depends on the type
of torch.


6.3 Connecting the cable assembly
1 Plug the hose assembly connection into the power supply and secure it with a connection nut.
2 Properly mount the connections for water supply/return, shielding gas and control line plug.

NOTICE
• The welding performance is affected by the selection of the tungsten electrode and by
wear. A smooth, groove-free sharpened end of the tungsten electrode has a positive effect
on the welding result.
