9 Maintenance and cleaning ABIROB

1 Lay out the hose assembly (3) in stretched position.

Disconnect central plug

from the feed unit.
3 Screw in support sleeve (1) .

Remove the old liner

and replace it with a new one and insert the bared
side into the central connector

5 Place the support sleeve (1) turned by 180° onto the new liner (6) (side
without thread).

Cut off the protruding liner

flush with the support sleeve
(1)
.
7 Screw collet chuck (5) onto the spiral liner (6) as far as it will go.
The position of the wire guide can be checked through the sight bore of the
collet chuck

8 Slide collet chuck (5) and spiral liner (6) into the central plug (2) as far as
they will go.

Slide support sleeve
(1)
on the thread side into the central plug
(2)
and
tighten it.
10 Attach hose assembly (3) to central connector (2) using the nut (4) .
9.3 Cleaning the torch neck
In order to increase the system availability of the welding robot, the
ABICOR BINZEL
offers the option of automated torch cleaning.
1 Remove gas nozzle.

Remove welding spatter and spray gas nozzle with
ABICOR BINZEL
anti-
spatter agent.
3 Check wear parts for visible damage and replace them, if required.

Replace equipment kit when worn or soiled.
5 Clean the separating point and grease O-rings with silicone-free sealing
grease.

Check the TCP after each use or after a collision in the alignment jig.
