Please follow below steps to mount UPS/battery
pack into rack or rack enclosure. This procedure is
suitable for 48.5cm/19inch rack cabinet installation
with a minimum depth of 900mm/35.4inch.
Step 1 . Insert 4 pieces of fixing nuts into the
following locations to fix UPS.
Step 2 . Fix the slide by M6 scerw.
Step 4 . Attach mounting ears to the side
mounting holes of UPS module by using the
screws provided and the ears should face forward
as following picture show.
Step 5 . Put the UPS module on the sliders and
push it till the ears touch with rack chassis.
Fasten the UPS module to the chassis with screws
on the mounting ears.
Step 6 . Install the battery pack with the same
procedure as UPS module.

PowerValue RT G2 5-10KAV UL can be mounted in
a rack or installed in a standalone configuration.
WARNING
WATER CONDENSATION MAY OCCUR IF
THE UPS IS UNPACKED IN A VERY LOW
TEMPER ATURE. TO AVOID HAZARDS AND
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, WAIT UNTIL
THE UPS IS FULLY DRY BOTH INSIDE AND
OUTSIDE BEFORE INSTALLING/USING
THE UPS.

4 .3 .2 Rack-mount installation
WARNING
TO AVOID INJURY FROM FALLING OBJECTS
MAKE SURE THAT THE R ACK CABINET CAN
ACCEPT THE UPS WEIGHT BEFORE
INSTALLING IT, INCLUDING PROVISIONS
FOR FIXING THE UPS BY SCREW.
Step 3 . Adjust the distance of rail sliders by
pulling the other end. It should be the same depth
of rack chassis. For example, if depth of rack
chassis is 900mm/35.4inch, please pull the length
of rail sliders in 900mm/35.4inch. Then,
use 6 pieces of M6 screws to the mount rail
sliders into the back of the chassis.
