All of the surfaces on the diffuser must be free of contamination after cleaning. In the
case of slotted diffusers, this applies in particular to the diffuser slots (03) and the dif-
fuser annulus (02).
u
Cleaning procedures should be selected that do not result in removal of the diffuser’s
base material or damage to its surfaces.
u
The evenness of all surfaces (01) between the diffuser blades must be checked visually.
The surfaces must be flat and even. Any deformations or deteriorations of the surface
caused by the cleaning process are not permitted.
u
Have damaged diffusers replaced by a Turbo Systems service station.
7.4.4
Turbine-end, non-rotating parts
WARNING
Handling operating materials and supplies
Swallowing or inhaling vapours of operating materials and supplies or con-
tact with them may be harmful to health.
u
Do not breathe in these substances and avoid contact with the skin.
u
Ensure proper ventilation.
u
Observe the information in the material safety data sheet for the operat-
ing materials and supplies.
u
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) according to the material
safety data sheet.
u
Comply with local legislation.
Wear safety goggles.
Wear safety gloves to protect against chemical hazards.
Wear a respiratory mask to protect against gases.
