Start-up and acceptance test
Contents of this chapter
This chapter contains the start-up instructions and the acceptance
test for the safety function.
Note : Only a competent person with expertise and knowledge of
the safety function as well as functional safety and Ex regulations
can do the start-up and adjust the related settings (IEC 61508-1
clause 6).
Before you start
Make sure that you have completed these start-up tasks for the
drive:
•
Checks and settings with no voltage connected
•
Powering up the drive
•
Setting up the drive control program.

Make sure you have set the correct parameter values for the safety
function. See chapter
