1.  Overview

DRL6600U Disturbance Recording and Fault Locating 

Device for power system is adapted to substations, 

industrial use, railways, and power generation of each 

voltage level, where recording the disturbance of power 

system is necessary. It truthfully  records electric 

variables during such events as power oscillation, 

frequency collapse or  voltage fluctuation, providing 

indispensable data support for incident  analysis and 

operation maintenance. 

DRL6600U consist of a recording unit with CPU and 

hard disk and a separate HMI. It  uses  the  CPU and 

hard disk for recording, and data transfer to the system 

data manager or other tasks  on the HMI  will not 

obstruct its main function. Also, the separated HMI can 

be  used  in data analysis without obstructing the 

disturbance recording.
