5.3 Brightness Limit Value
The brightness limit value is defined by the brightness sensor, the lens system and the "Lux
1" (
or Lux 2
) potentiometer.
The integrated light sensor continuously measures the brightness reflected on the ceiling
and compares this brightness value with the limit value set on the Presence Detector
(selectable from 5 to 1000 Lux).
NOTE
The Lux value set* refers to the brightness reflected at the Presence Detector
and not
to the brightness prevailing at the workplace. As a rule, the Lux value registered by the
Presence Detector is distinctly lower than the Lux value prevailing at the workplace.
