• Touch the
Measure
icon.
• Enter the Patient ID on the “New Sample Screen”.
• Select animal Type .
• Mix the sample well by slowly inverting the tube 10-15 times. Insert the
well-mixed EDTA preserved whole blood sample into the appropriate tube
adapter, on the sample rotor, and remove the cap.
• Touch the
Run button.
If your HM5 is set for autoprint, your results will be
printed automatically.
If not, press the Print button to print results
Test Results (and blank cycles) are automatically saved
to the HM5 database.
They can be viewed by pressing the database function key
