Remedy Bulb Installation
•
Remove UV bulbs from inside of tub. Note: Don’t touch the glass
section of the bulbs with your fingers as the oil left behind will
shorten the life of the bulb.
•
Remove the side panel on each side of the tub by opening the access
panel and removing the thumb screw to the rear of the cutout. You’ll
also need to remove the side panel trim on the left side of the tub to
install the upper bulb. (See
instructions.)
•
Slide the UV bulbs into the Remedy Chambers behind the tub. It’s
important to keep them parallel with the inside of the chamber to
prevent damaging the quartz tube inside.
•
Connect the cables coming off the rear most electrical box to the
bulbs.
•
Thread the UV Bulb Retainer Plug located on the cable into the end
of the chamber. Fitting should be just snug enough to prevent it from
threading out as this fitting only serves to keep the bulbs from sliding
out of the tube. Overtightening will increase the likelihood of
accidently loosening the adjacent fitting when the bulbs are serviced
in the future.
