9.3  Cleaning and disinfection

 

WARNING – No moisture must be allowed to enter the interior of the device!  This may result in  

 

electric shocks! Use only damp cloths for cleaning the device’s surface! Never use wet cloths!

 

WARNING – Test all safety-relevant functions after cleaning!

 

WARNING – Do not smoke during cleaning!

 NOTE - Keep the stair climber away from sources of ignition!

i

 

 NOTE - Clean the safety brakes in rims weekly or in the event of dirt/deposits with spirit!  
Observe the hazard warnings for spirit!

 NOTE - Do not use a high-pressure cleaner!

i

 

NOTE - Do not use abrasive or aggressive agents  

 

(if necessary, test on an inconspicuous area in advance)!

i

 

NOTE - Do not use substances containing alcohol!

i

 

NOTE - Do not use acidic substances such as orange cleaner!

i

   NOTE - Clean cushioned surfaces and all surfaces that come into direct skin contact as 

 

required (e.g. optional head rest).

If you want to disinfect the 
stair climber, carry out a wipe 
disinfection. 

Clean the stair climbers 
surfaces with common 
household cleaning agents.
