6 Starting up

NOTE - Store the c-max U2 in a frost-free environment for at least one hour prior to start-up to
avoid malfunctions or defects.

NOTE - Press UP/DOWN switch only a few seconds after switching on!
5.3 Armrests
DANGER - The armrests must not be loaded only on one side as there is a risk of tipping over!
DANGER - Do not attach any objects (such as bags) to the armrests. Risk of tipping over!
WARNING - Never sit on the armrests or use them as carrying handles as they are not de-
signed for this purpose.
WARNING - While using the c-max U2, the occupant's arms must not extend beyond the arm-
rests!
CAUTION - Pay attention to the pinch point on the swivelling part to avoid injuries when swivel-
ling the armrests.

NOTE - The armrests must not be loaded with more than 90 kg per side.
Release the swivel mecha-
nism by pressing in the lock-
ing button.
Tilt the armrest forwards
until it locks into the horizon-
tal position.
» Check that it is correctly
seated.
The armrests serve as lateral restraints and may be used as a support for the arms.
