Press

key to turn on the scale. The scale displays all segments for a few
seconds and then displays zero.

key again to turn the scale off.

UNITS
key to select a weighing unit from “g”, “oz”, ct (HL-200i only) , “lb-oz”
(HL-2000i only) or “tl”. Normally the scale displays “g” when is shipped from the factory.
To turn on with other units
, turn the scale off. Press and hold the
UNITS
key, then press

ON:OFF
key. The scale will start with the next unit.

Verify the reading is zero. If not, press the
RE-ZERO
key to zero the display.
If you use a container for weighing, place an empty container on the weighing pan and
press the
RE-ZERO
key to zero the display.
Place the objects to be weighed on the pan or in the container. When the reading
becomes stable, the STABLE indicator

is displayed.

If the scale is left ON and the STABLE indicator

is displayed, the automatic power-off
function turns the scale off after approximately 5 minutes.
To disable or enable this function, press the
ON:OFF
key while pressing the
RE-ZERO
key. When the scale is turned on,

function is disabled. If

is not displayed, then the function is enabled.
