Archimedes’ Principle of Density Measurement
Archimedes’ Principle
A body immersed in a liquid is subject to an upward force equal to the weight of the liquid it
displaces. The upward force is buoyancy.
The GX-13 is combined with an electronic balance to measure the density of a sample,
based on the Archimedes’ principle.
