RECOMMENDED LUBRICATION
- Do not use petroleum-based grease.
- When replacing a unit wheel, apply a small dab of Molykote G-n paste
in the drop of the ratchet ( figure 21 ).
- Molykote G-n paste is also used in the following applications:
1 - On the Shoulder Screw p/n 2824 that attaches the Connecting Arm
to the Swing.
2 - On the Studs, Roller and Shaft on Cam Follower Assembly p/n 1-
119.
3 - On the front and rear Ribbon Ratchet Shafts p/n's 1-5635 & 1-5636.
4 - On the Case Lock (p/n 6784) cam.
5 - On the pivot stud of Ribbon Feed Actuator p/n 1-597-1130.
-If wheel shaft or trigger switch assembly requires lubrication, use a
small amount of Tri-Flow Lubrication w/Teflon. No other type of
lubrication should be used.
