Warning:
• If you do not follow these instructions exactly, a fire or explosion may result
causing property damage, personal injury or loss of life.
• The water heater must be installed by a professional installers
recommended by A. O. Smith.
• Forbidden to install in enclosed spaces having poor or no ventilation.
• The gas type and pressure for this water heater must conform to the
specifications provided in the nameplate & user guide usage of any other
type of gas is dangerous.
For safety read before operating the water heater
Note:
• Read the user guide carefully before installing and using the water heater.
• This water heater should be installed with exhaust flue.
• Ensure reliable earthing connection for the power cord plug.
• Connect the water heater using independent sockets, adhering to national standards,
to ensure reliable earthing. Do not use adapters. Use multi-meter to check whether
the live line and neutral line are reverse, to ensure complete safety.
Operating Instruction:
1. Ensure all the gas connections are properly tightened and there is no leakage of gas.
2. Plug in the power cord and switch on the power.
3. Turn on the gas switch.
4. Turn on the inlet-outlet tap, the water heater will ignite automatically upon entry of
water into it, it discharges hot water in a few seconds.
5. Customer can adjust the "gas flow" knob,
"water flow" knob to get the required outlet
water temperature.
6. If the water heater is continuously running for
25 minutes then as a safety measure, the water
heater will stop the supply of hot water by
switching off the gas supply and ignition. Only
cold inlet water will flow through the outlet. To
resume hot water supply again, please turn off
the water inlet and turn on consequently.
7. In ambient temperatures reaching below
freezing point "drain off" the water in the unit
by using the drain function in the pressure
relief valve. This is to prevent the residual water
inside the unit from freezing which may cause
cracks in the water tube.
8. After usage, please shut off the gas valve and
switch off the power supply.
