Overview

The cut off saw is used for cutting steel such as pipe, box

section, rectangular, angle iron and steel bars. The saw can

cut at angles from 0° to 45° left and right, it features a three

position fence that permits an extended cutting range. The

quick release vise allows fast adjustment whilst the lock-off

button prevents accidental operation.

Attaching the vise handle

1.  Remove the screw from the end of the shaft with a

Phillips type screw driver.

2.  Fit the vise handle onto the end of the vise (Fig. A).
3.  Fit the spring washer over the screw followed by the

flat washer.

4.  Place the screw inside the

vise handle and secure

the vise handle to the vise

by tightening the screw in

a clockwise direction with

screw driver (Fig. B).

5.   Fit the cap onto the vise

handle (Fig. C).

Adjusting the vise

The vise can be adjusted quickly

by pushing on the vise handle

forward, or backward by dis-

engaging the vise lock and sliding

the vise back.
1.  Place your workpiece in

between the fence and vise.

2.  The vise can be moved

quickly forward by pushing

the vise handle forward.

(Fig. D).

  To move the vise backward

(open) quickly, lift the vise

lock backward to disengage

the thread (Fig. E). The vise

can be moved backward

by pulling  back on the vise

handle.

3.  Once the vise hits the workpiece, move the vise lock

forward to engage the threaded section if the vise lock is

dis-engaged.

4.  Rotate the vise handle in a

clockwise direction to secure

the workpiece in position

(Fig. F).

5. To remove an object from the

vise, rotate the vise handle

in an anti-clockwise direction

until the vise jaws are loose.

The workpiece can now

be removed, the vise lock

release lever can also be lifted backward to slide the vise

back quickly.
