Install the output fiber(s):
LDI-6
: Remove the SMA cap from the SMA connector installed in fiber access area. Connect the output
fiber to the SMA connector. Route the fiber through the associated slot in the LDI front panel (Figure 11).
LDI-7
: Remove the SMA caps from the SMA connectors installed in fiber access area. Connect output fibers
to the SMA connectors. Route the fibers or bifurcated fiber legs through the associated slots in the LDI
front panel (Figure 11).
Note
: If an output channel is not intended to be used, i.e. the output fiber for this
channel will not be installed, the SMA cap for that channel should remain in place.
