NAIL LOADING AND TOOL OPERATION
WARNING! While loading the fasteners do not touch the trigger and do not depress
contact arm (safety yoke). Do not point the nail discharge outlet toward yourself and
other persons.
Prior loading the fasteners the tool shall be connected to the air supply. While connecting to air
supply do not point the tool toward yourself or other persons, do not hold trigger and contact
arm depressed.
1. PRESS THE RELEASE LEVER (LATCH) TO OPEN THE DOOR AND MAGAZINE COVER (Figure
above)
2. TURN AND RAISE/LOWER THE NAIL SUPPORT INSIDE THE MAGAZINE TO SUIT THE SIZE OF
NAILS YOU ARE USING. TO RAISE THE NAIL SUPPORT YOU SHOULD PULL IT AND TURN LEFT TO
LOCK IT. TO LOWER THE PLATFORM YOU SHOULD PULL IT NAD TURN IT RIGHT.
3. LOAD THE NAILS IN THE MAGAZINE; INSERT THE FIRST OF THE NAIL INTO THE FEED PAWL.
4. ENSURE THE HEADS OF THE NAILS LINE UP WITH THE RETAINING SLOT
CLOSE THE MAGAZINE COVER AND LOCK IN PLACE THE DOOR.
TOOL OPERATION
1. THE GUN IS NOW READY TO USE. TOOL IS FITTED WITH A SAFETY YOKE WHICH WILL
REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY DUE TO UNWANTED NAILS BEING FIRED.
2. TOOL IS EQUIPPED WITH AN CONTACT ACTUATION, WHICH ALLOWS DRIVING FASTENER IN
TWO WAYS:-
- POSITION AND DEPRESS CONTACT ARM (SAFETY YOKE) AGAINST WORK SURFACE AND PULL
THE TRIGGER. TOOL SHOULD FIRE A NAIL.
- TO DRIVE NAIL PULL TRIGGER AND PUSH CONTACT ARM (SAFETY YOKE) AGAINST WORK
SURFACE. EACH TIME CONTACT ARM IS PUSHED AGAINST WORK SURFACE A NAIL WILL BE
DRIVEN.
3. THE BEST WAY TO SET THE PRESSURE IS TO FIRE A FEW TEST NAILS INTO A PIECE OF
SCRAP WOOD, OF THE SAME TYPE AS TO BE NAILED.START THE PRESSURE LOW AND INCREASE
UNTIL YOU GET THE PENETRATION THAT IS REQUIRED.
Warning! Tools equipped with a contact actuation shall not be used for specific application for
example:
- when changing one driving location to another involves use of scaffoldings, stairs, ladders or
ladder alike constructions e.g roof laths;
- closing boxes or crates;
- fitting transportation safety systems e.g. on vehicles and wagons.
