To release the Thumb Slide Hook from the Locking Plate the locking plate needs tapped with a
light pin hammer downwards

away

from the clamp. If needed first of all the Thumb Slide hook

can be released by pushing it upwards with the small terminal screwdriver.

•

If the Thumb slide hook is not engaging in the locking plate then the Lock Plate may need to be
tapped lightly downward with a light pin hammer as shown in the photo below:
