Thermocouple Leads

7. When first applied the high temperature silicone leave for 45minutes to

allow for a “skin” to form as this helps reduce the amount of oozing

caused when replacing the cover on the connector plug

8. With the connector plug fitted the other end of the cable needs to be prepared.
Strip back the sheathing by 10mm and twisted the two wires together. Snip the
twisted wire to leave a thermocouple junction of 3-5mm. The point is where the
temperature will be measured.
