7.6) SX-48000 DIP Switch Settings
The four channel model SX-48000 has control options for the Input sensitivity, bridge function and the signal input
mode of the XLR input sockets.
Sensitivity Switches:
Selct between four different input sensitivity level with the two dip switches 1 and 2.
0,775V/1,0V/1,5V/2V
Figure 7.2 shows how to select the right setting.
The right setting and a correct system gain structure is very important to reach maximum signal headroom, less
noise and avoid clipping at any position of your sound structure. Please refer to 9.7 Setting System Gain Structure.
Input Mode:
Select between Stereo or Mode Bridge Mode as shown in figure 7.1.
If the dip switch 3 are set to Mono Bridge Mode the signal of the input socket CHA (CHC) will be internal linked to
the Input signal for CHB (CHD).
Clip:
Select if the internal Clip protection limiter should be on or off as sown in figure 7.1.
If the dip switch 4 is set to Clip the internal clip protection limiter is on.
7.) CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
Figure 7.2
Switch the amplifier channels A/B or (and) C/D to Mono Bridge Mode. The
input signal of CHA (CHC) will be linked internal to CHB (CHD).
If use the output sockets A (C) and A+B (C+D) with 1+/1- connection the two
related output channels will have the same signal of input CHA (CHC). If
use output socket A+B (C+D) with 1+/2- connection the amplifier will work
in mono bridge mode. Output socket A (C) can not be used if you want to
drive the two amp channels in bridge mode!
Select the input sensitivity (Volatage Gain)
Switch on/off the internal clip protection limiter.
