3.3.3.1.1. Static IP
1. Select the Brans200 to be installed and set the IP address, subnet mask,
default gateway and administrator’s password, which is ‘pass’ by default.
2. Clicking the ‘Set’ button to save the IP configuration to the Brans unit.
3. To confirm communication, click the “Ping” button.
4. Confirmation of communication should look something like this:
Communication failure would look like this:
If some, or all, of the packets are lost, repeat the ‘ping’ command again. If you keep
getting the ‘timed-out’’ message, check the following:
•
Brans200 is connected to power and turned on
•
Cable connections (between Brans200 and PC, or Brans200, PC and HUB).
•
IP addresses assigned to the Brans200 and PC are in the same subnet mask
If these items check out OK, then rerun IP Setup and reassign the IP to the Brans200.
