d.  Attach the deflector to the fastener so that the wings on each side 

are below the bottom edge of the shell. 

 

e.  Be sure there is no interference between the deflector and the 

faceshield that would not allow the shield to close completely. 

 

18) To replace the L-183 Headgear Cover

:

 

 

a.  Insert the latch end of the breathing tube in the hole in the back of 

the cover. Attach the breathing tube to the headgear. 

 
b.  Pull the cover over the top until the elastic covers the top of the 

wide-view frame. 

 

c.  Reinstall the faceshield or shields.
